very, very comfortable vintage steelcase swivel office chair, model 454311, dated 1984.
this piece blends americana, contemporary, and mid-century modern influence into one incredibly usable form. the sculpted seat and backrest cradle you naturally, while the chrome arms and 5-star base give it that clean executive edge.
upholstered in an orange tone — it pairs beautifully with wood desks, chrome, glass, or postmodern interiors.
the chair tilts and features an adjustable tension knob underneath the seat, allowing you to customize the recline resistance to your preference. smooth swivel and rolling casters. structurally solid and fully functional. these versions are not adjustable in height but is comfortable for all heights (as long as you're not 7ft tall haha)
very minor discoloration on the upholstery consistent with age. otherwise, the chair remains in great vintage condition with no structural concerns. chrome is in excellent shape.
