pair of vintage Kinetics tubular cantilever armchairs, made in Canada.
a really fun postmodern color combination with deep blue tubular metal frames and contrasting taupe / gray-brown upholstered seats. the continuous cantilever frame gives these a sculptural profile while keeping them surprisingly clean and minimal.
Kinetics was a Canadian furniture manufacturer known for playful tubular-frame seating, with examples of this particular style dating to the late 20th century. the original Haworth manufacturing labels remain underneath both chairs.
overall good vintage condition. upholstery presents nicely. scuffs, scratches and finish wear are present throughout the blue tubular frames from age and use — please check photos carefully and zoom in to inspect condition.
both chairs remain structurally sound and ready for use.
