authentic De Sede DS-11 modular loveseat designed and manufactured in Switzerland during the 1970s.
crafted in De Sede’s signature thick saddle leather, this compact low-profile sofa has the effortlessly relaxed look the brand is known for. incredibly plush with deep, lounge-worthy seating while maintaining a surprisingly compact footprint—perfect for NYC apartments, studios, reading corners, or smaller living spaces.
the modular construction also allows the two sections to be separated or reconfigured if desired.
overall good vintage condition with beautiful patina and character throughout. the leather remains soft, supple, and exceptionally comfortable. there is one noticeable tear to the left seat cushion exposing the foam (pictured). the sofa is still completely usable as-is, though the leather can be professionally repaired or reupholstered at the buyer’s discretion.
an increasingly difficult De Sede model to come across, especially in this rich cognac leather.
this sofa is EXTREMELY comfortable. you will sink into it.
